Location: Le Havre
Destination: Fuveau, Southern France
Travel Distance: Approx 600miles

We disembarked at 08:00 local time and immediately headed towards Paris – we had set the satnav whilst still on the ferry as we did not want to get stuck in the back streets of Le Havre with Mojo on the back.
We approached Paris via the Perphique Exterieur and avoided any nasty traffic jams – it was quite exciting to take Mojo through Paris passing sights in the distance such as The Eiffel Tower and Sacre Coeur- the Seine stayed within our sights for quite a while – next destination Lyon.
Things were going quite well until there was an horrific sound and Shaun frantically steering to the hard shoulder – a tyre had blown out on the trailer, we put on our fluorescent jackets and I kept guard whilst Shaun changed the tyre – back in the UK he had wondered whether to get a second wheel spare for the trailer and now I regretted telling him not to.
We headed for several tyre garages to get a new one put on but they did not stock our size. We even went into an agricultural shop and asked but nothing. We had lost some time by then and decided to keep heading on to the hotel – finally at nearly midnight we arrived at the hotel after being chased by a big thunder storm and torrents of rain.
After spending over 14hrs of driving Shaun slept very well!
