This morning we decided that we had to get washing done as we had run out of clothes – the campsite laundry was not open, and the first laundry that we went to was really busy. We found a quiet laundry near the roundabout on thr road to Sarzanna and loaded in all of the washing. We then headed to a bar for a drink – a lovely friendly place! We ordered Machiatto and when I returned to the bar for a coke saw that some other people were drinking an orange drink. I asked what it was and she tried to explain – I tried it, ‘cordona’ an orange bitter drink which was really refreshing!  In the meantime the clothes were washing away and this has given me the chance to write up the ships log.

We would like to go to Lerici for some lunch, Portovenere for a walk around and possibly to see the market there, and to go and see the hillside village of old Ameglia. We also want to ride our bikes up to the gelato shops.
